Reiki

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy balancing technique that is used to relieve stress, promote deep relaxation, ease pain, and aid the body’s natural healing process. It is an alternative or complementary therapy used by many hospitals and clinics to help promote general health and wellness and to support the healing of illness, injuries, and surgeries.

Benefits of Reiki:

  • Correct your natural flow of energy

  • Identify any emotional states that are creating the physical ailment

  • Receive relief from injury, ailment, etc. by receiving healing energy your body can absorb and use to heal itself

  • Learn techniques you can do at home to keep yourself flowing with healthy energy

Note: Proper Reiki techniques are designed to help you where you need the most energetic support in a session - physically and/or emotionally and/or spiritually or any combination of all three

Why My Expertise Is Important

The training and lineage of a person's Reiki Masters plays a critical role in the experience you receive and may determine your desire to embrace this important modality in your health and wellbeing. I have been fortunate to be trained by Lourdes Gray who focuses on preserving the authentic and accurate Reiki methods as created by Mikao Usui in the 1920's of Kyoto, Japan. My training was intensive and comprehensive requiring three levels of training certification and one full year to complete.

LINEAGE OF REIKI:

Mikao Usui passed this system, hand to hand to Dr. Chujiro Hayashi who passed it down to Mrs. Hawayo Takata who introduced this to the United States and trained 22 Reiki Masters. John Harvey Gray was one of the original 22 Reiki Masters and was the longest-practicing and most experienced Reiki Master Teacher in the USA until his passing in 2011. His widow, Lourdes Gray continues to teach Master Usui's teachings as he created them and passed these down to me.

The lineage of Reiki, passed down hand to hand is:
